Along with the brothers Hades and Poseidon, Zeus defeated the titans and became the King of Olympus. Zeus is most well known as the god of sky and thunder – he wields the lightning bolt forged by the Cyclopes blacksmiths; he is the supreme cultural embodiment of the Greek religious system and had far-reaching influence beyond his relevancy. Carefree, wise, fair, and unpredictable sums up Zeus’ personality; he can be just and merciful while at the same time easily enraged by the slightest offense from anyone. Zeus is a lover with no boundary, he falls in love repeatedly and consistently with different people and had many affairs with various women which created demi-gods, mythical creatures, and constellations throughout the Greek pantheon.
