The Field Tarot

The Field Tarot was created to guide readers through the sacred space (”the field”) where the tarot narrative takes place. Inspired by colorful, botanical, and otherworldly dreamscapes, the accessible artwork situates the reader within the scene, allowing them to easily connect with the card meanings. The Field Tarot acts as an intuitive tool to help readers navigate through life, relationships, and their inner and outward journeys.

Hannah Elizabeth Fofana has brought the experience of her career in design to the table in order to create this unique perspective on the traditonal Ryder/Waite/Smith tarot deck. Her bold take on each card brings its message front and center for the viewer. The dreamy, ethereal style of the illustrations adds layers of dimension despite the simplicity of the images.

If you are new to the tarot, the softly rendered images will ease you into what is ultimately a very dense system of iconic imagery. If you are a seasoned reader, the deceptively simple interpretations of each card will give your subconscious license to explore outside standard definitions.
