What Customers Are Saying About New Era Elements Tarot.......

In the "New Era Elements Tarot" author/artist Eleonore F. Pieper, Ph.D., combines the backbone of the traditional Rider-Waite and Crowley-Harris traditions to create a very unique deck. She has replaced the traditional suits with the four elements; renamed the Court cards Daughter, Son, Mother and Father, with each suit representing a distinct world culture; and retained Crowley's designations for each of the Pip (numbered) cards. The artwork has been updated to reflect modern times (replacing the feudal nature of traditional Tarot decks), and is done in sepia tones. A true gift at the end of the 116-page companion book is a six card New Era Elements spread. This deck appeals to people of all ages, from all backgrounds.

I pre-ordered this deck directly from the publisher after following the artist, Eleonore Pieper, on Deviant Art. The deck is finally in my hot hands, and I love it! The imagery is truly relevant and in my opinion easier to interpret/feel. I found myself feeling emotional and moved by many of the images just while I was pondering the cards the first time. I can't put this deck down and feel like it is now my go to deck.

I am blown away by the artists talent. There is nothing I don't love about this deck. The color palette, the diversity, the choices for each card. There is no way you won't fall in love. I will definitely be back to order more copies as gifts and as back ups for myself!

New Era Elements Tarot by Eleonore F. Pieper, Ph.D. has been a deck that I have had one of those instant connections with. This is published by U.S. Games Systems. I picked it up on a whim and yet was pleasantly with its function and form. There is a nice balance of people, animals, nature scenes, and mech. With a sepia tone to bring it all together, this deck really takes it from the metaphysical to the mundane and back again. I would like for you to keep in mind this is not a ‘feel good’ or ‘fluffy’ deck. This is a straightforward in-your-face kind of deck. Some of the images instilled some visceral reactions out of me, even though I am a seasoned card reader. This deck is not for the faint of heart. But if you want to hear it like it is. Then this will probably work well for you. This is a Thoth based deck with astrology glyphs on all of the minor cards. I really cannot ask more from a deck. Thought provoking, powerful, recognizably good card stock, and affordable!
